Number Fourteen:

While this isn’t a toy for the little ones in the family, it is a toy for the big kids in the family, if you know what I mean. Mommies and Daddies need to get a toy ever now and then. That’s why we’ve added the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 18.0 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm EF-S IS STM Lens to our list.

Since it would take up a whole page just to tell you the great features this little camera has, I’ll just give you a few of the basics that caught my eye.

It is the world’s smallest and lightest digital SLR, equipped with an 18.0 Megapixel CMOS sensor,  features an ISO range of ISO 100–12800 (expandable to H: 25600) for stills and ISO 100–6400 (expandable to H: 12800) for videos, and the best – high speed continuous shooting. I hate the delayed picture taking. I am always missing something and ending up with the top or back of someone’s head.

Number Fifteen

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon

If you love Mario games, you’ll love Luigi’s Mansion! The folks at Nintendo really know how to keep kids entertained as they can’t get enough of these two brothers. The only problem you’ll have with this game is keeping the parents away from it long enough for the kids to play.

Game is complete with five huge mansions, challenging puzzles, secret passages, hidden corridors, new gadgets, coins, and much more! Help Luigi suck up ghosts as he makes his way through the spookiest game he’s ever encountered! Available for Nintendo’s 3DS.

Number Sixteen

The makers of the original Rubik’s Cube has done it again! Their Puzzle Cube Speed Twist Toy is now one of their best-selling items. Turn it, twist it, move it side-to-side; can you figure out the right combinations to solve the puzzle? Kids will find it interesting and challenging when they wake up to this little toy on Christmas morning!

Although, I must admit adults tend to love a puzzle challenge now and again. Buy it for the kids, but try to solve the puzzle yourself. Can you do it?

Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Number Seventeen:

When you have a Barbie collector in your house, they may need a house to put them in, right? Imagine your a little girl waking up on Christmas morning and finding a Barbie 3-Story Dream Townhouse.

Recommended for ages 3 to 10, but many girls love this house up to age 12.

Number Eighteen:

With the release of Monsters University, pretty much any toy, gadget, shirt, hat, or anything else from the movie is going to fly off the shelves.

How does Pixar do it? Kids and adults both love the movie, so why not have some of the movie to play with at home?

When you click on the Monsters University link you’ll be taken to page after page of memorable toys from the movie. If you keep scrolling through the pages, you’ll find even more great stuff. Since the movie was such a hit, it was too hard to predict which toys would be at the top of the list of the hottest Christmas toys 2013.

Each toy has it’s own lovable appeal and each individual child will have his own idea of which one is best!

Number Nineteen:

Old Toys

Top Christmas Gifts from Your Past!

We’ve did some research, then just used what was left of our memory to think up some great Christmas gifts from the past. These toys still sell like crazy around Christmas time. Take a look to see which of these toys you remember as a child.

Past Christmas Toy #1

Whether you were a boy or a girl, the Magic 8 Ball was one of those toys you had to have if you wanted to be cool. Do you remember it? You’d invite your friends over and sit around asking some of the silliest questions you could think of just to see what the Magic 8 Ball’s answer would be.

Now, your kids can have just as much fun asking it questions too! Let your kids see if the ball can predict their future.

This is the original Magic 8 Ball you had when you were a kid! They’ll get answers like: “without a doubt” and “signs point to yes”.

Give your kids a toy from your past this Christmas.

Past Christmas Toy #2

It’s Slinky! It’s Slinky! For fun it’s a wonderful toy. It’s fun for a girl or a boy!

Do you remember that jingle from the commercials we’d hear over and over again?

This is the Original Slinky in Box from POOF and just like it did decades ago, it still ‘walks down stairs’. We loved it and so will they. It is made of silver metal and is proud to be made in the USA.

Great stocking stuffer!

It must still be great as they have sold over 300 million world-wide!

Past Christmas Toy #3

Who doesn’t remember Etch A Sketch? It was one of those toys I would watch other kids use and create cool pictures while mine just looked like a bunch of lines. Still, I wanted one and when I got one as a gift, I played with it endlessly because the fun part was when you turn it over and give a little shake – the picture ‘magically’ disappears!

This classic Etch A Sketch measures 6 inches x 4.5 inches and is great for taking along in the car or at home.

No batteries required.

Past Christmas Toy #4

This is the Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon you remember getting pulled around in when you were a kid or should I say this is the wagon you pushed to the top of a bank or hill, jumped inside and let it roll down the hill trying hard not to let it flip to the side. Yep, I did it too!

The Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon comes with steel wheels and real rubber tires for lasting fun. The extra long handle is made to fold underneath the wagon for easy storage.

This wagon has been popular for over 70 years! Now that’s a toy built to last.

Past Christmas Toy #5

Think back to when you were young. Now, imagine what it was like to wake up to a Jack-In-The-Box under the tree. It is one of those kids toys that let you turn the handle, hear the music, and then, when you least expected it, Jack would jump out and give you a good scare.

This cute Jack-In-The-Box is made by Schylling and is constructed of tin. When the handle is turned the music played is to the tune of ‘Pop Goes the Weasel’. The puppet, or Jack, is made of colorful plush material. Many more Jack-in-the-box designs available.

Recommended for ages 18 months and older.

Past Christmas Toy #6

Tricky Dogs – One of the Best-selling Novelty Items of All Time!Have you ever looked for something your kids could play with that you played with when you were a kid?

Believe it or not, Tricky Dogs was one of those toys and now, they are back with a vengeance and have been on this year’s best selling list.

No need for batteries for this cute toy! That’s just one reason it is one of the hottest Christmas toys 2013!
